Megalido -- the rants, the money, the hype. Unfortunately, Megalido, the autosurf that states on its website that it is going to bring the autosurf industry back into glory, has failed.
I have posted about this autosurf a few times. In fact, in my last post I actually praised this autosurf for paying out the returns it had stated it would. It appeared that Megalido was going to do what it set out to do; bring the autosurf industry back with some type of honor. At this website the owner identifies himself and also his locale and then writes a very inspirational article for those that are interested in participating in his program but may be sitting on the fence.
I was hesitant to try it given the bad rep this industry has, however, after seeing the payments that people were receiving and the contests and the owner's dedication toward his program, I fell for it. I took this guy's line, as did 10,000+ people. Even better, many other autosurf websites have popped up inviting people to participate in their program to make some money.
At this time Megalido is no longer paying, and the owner has crafted another story in order to explain why. Believe him? Don't think so. Megalido bites the dust. End of this story for me. Will I venture into another autosurf program? No way.

WordLinx Offers Cash Prizes
Wordlinx is a PTC site that I joined a year ago and really haven't paid much attention to it because I didn't like it. I entered the site a few days ago out of curiousity and am happy to see many improvements. I also ran into a nifty little contest they are having for some easy money. I think I am going to put together a solo ad with all the contests I am finding online because I am running into them left and right. Here are the details of this contest:There are 5 winners for this cash contest. It is a referral contest. 1st place winner gets $250; 2nd place winner gets $100 and 3 third place winners will get $50. This contest ends on December 5th.
Wordlinx says that a referral must be active in order to be included. They have defined an active member as a new member who has clicked on a least 5 links and has logged in within the last 2 weeks; so I would guess that would be 2 weeks before December 5th (when the contest ends).
I did look at the stats for this contest and the top referrer right now has 66 and the 5th place referrer has 21. Can you do it? Do you want a little extra holiday cash? I sure do. I would love to win the SquishyCash contest that I listed below but I don't think I would be able to do it.

Megalido Just Keeps Paying Without Fail
On October 13th I wrote a post about a new autosurf called Megalido. I sat and watched this program for awhile before I participated in it due to various concerns. However, I finally took the jump and it is without regrets.
In my last Megalido post I mentioned that I put $60 into this program (costs $6 for one ad spot). I surfed faithfully for 12 days and earned 12% on my $60 and received a cashout of $86.40 on the 12th day. I then tossed $84 back in and received a cashout of $120.96 on Nov. 5th -- within 30 days I doubled my money at this program.

eBooks Available - Rebrandable
I recently came upon an awesome forum called Wonderful Web Women. This forum is jam packed with information on everything under the sun. It is not your typical money-making forum. This is a forum created by extremely successful internet professional who pass their knowledge onto you. This is a forum you want to get acquainted with if you really want to learn some new things in terms of blogging and online business in general.
One of the highlights for me in this forum are the rebrandable eBooks you can get get when you upgrade your account to gold. There are many hot-selling authors listed here (i.e. Rosaline Gardner, author of the Super Affiliate Handbook). Golden Panda and ASD Cash Generator Under Investigation
Last week it was announced that the Golden Panda Ad Builder and the ASD Cash Generator programs are temporarily closed because they are being investigated by the Attorney General's office. As of this writing, both websites have been taken down, with the Golden Panda website updating a news update post. All assets have been frozen; no funds can be moved in or out of any accounts.
The Golden Panda website is posting a news update and it appears they are trying to hold conference calls with members to advise them of current events. ASD Cash Generator had sent out an e-mail the other day advising members the reason for the investigation. They report that a member had filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office as they had not received their payment as quickly as they would have liked. They go on to advise that business will resume once the investigation has been completed and do not anticipate a prolonged downtime.

I am hopeful both programs will be without problems and will have their doors open for business once again shortly.

Money is in the list. How many times have you heard that? Too many I am sure. And have you done anything about it? Have you started building your own list yet? If not, why? I am sure you have the same excuses I have -- it costs too much, it looks too complicated or I don't have the time. How To Promote an Advertising Program or Product
How do you promote an advertising program or product is a question many people online cannot figure out. When anybody attempts to make money online, you have to enter with a realistic point-of-view and that is that it takes time. You are performing a variety of job functions from researching, creating, advertising and marketing. Most people are use to performing one job function, and when faced with the challenge of performing all these tasks, it can become unbearable for some and they toss in the towel.
The internet has listed billions of websites and blogs, and I recently read that about half of the websites or blogs were abandoned by their owners in 1 year's time. Why? Maybe it was due to time constraints, maybe people can't see the whole picture on how to get it done because it is very confusing, and maybe they expected to see instantaneous results and when it was not delivered that just turned their back on their project.
Instead of just telling you how to do it, I am going to post here in this blog step-by-step of how I go about it and will also post my progress. The program I have decided to go with is going to be the Pepperjam Ad Network. Right now the Pepperjam Ad Network has a special offer for new publishers, but the promotion only runs until the end of July. For every new publisher that signs up for the program through another publisher's link, they will receive $10. So what do I get out of it? For each and every publisher I refer who gets accepted, I receive $7. I will more than likely not receive a lot of signups, if any, during the current promotion they are running, regardless, this is the program I have chosen to go with.
What I have done is sent an e-mail to Pepperjam and asked if I could take the promotion of their ad network off my blog and use alternate marketing and advertising platforms. Ad networks always support paid-per-click (PPC) advertising methods (i.e. Adsense advertising), however, I want to try to go around that first and promote this without an advertising budget. I primarily want to use free internet marketing and advertising platforms. I just lost my Adsense account 2 weeks account due to a happy clicker and want to make sure I do not utilize a promotional method that would jeopardize my Pepperjam account.
Once I receive a response from Pepperjam, I will take my first step, and that is the prep step. The prep step includes quite a bit of work, as it involves creating and planning. All comments and suggestions are more than welcome. I hope to get going on this some time this week. Top 101 Blog Directories and RSS Submission Sites
I ran across a very informative blog today about blog directories and RSS submission sites and would like to make mention of it here because I often see bloggers or website owners writing about backlinks and directories. Today I was just buzzing around and came across this awesome FREE site for bloggers. The guy who writes this blog updates it weekly. Just because he is constantly on top of this blog with updates, I love it already. Monetizing your Blog or Website with Bidvertiser
Now that Adsense has concluded its referral program, I am curious to see what affects it will have on site owners' monetization models. I have used Bidvertiser as an advertiser with good results but never implemented it into my own website's or blog's monetization because, let's face it, Adsense is convenient. If you utilize the Blogger platform to create a blog, Adsense is already programmed in there. I believe Adsense is the most highly used monetization model there is online.
Since I had used Bidvertiser in the past as an advertiser, I had considered utilizing it for my sites but never got around to it. I am a fairly new blogger and website creator so have just utilized what was recommended or already there. However, this morning I think I saw the writing on the wall that it was time to switch; actually I have no choice.
I received a mail this morning that my Adsense account had been disabled. It appears some reader came to my blog and clicked on quite a few Adsense ads, and I am now being held liable for that user's actions by having my account disabled. Adsense encourages you to play around with ad placement, and I had utilized the ad placement in my Blogger platform by placing Adsense ads in between my postings; not a good thing to do because you could have your account disabled if some clicking happy reader enters your site. I have put in an appeals and will see what happens, but at the present time I have finally taken the Bidvertiser jump. I am doing this because I have no choice, but I am curious to see how many site owners will be doing this in the future just because of the conclusion of the Adsense referral program. I am confident many site owners rely on Adsense referral income.
One thing I definitely like about Bidvertiser is that you will be paid once your account reaches $10 via Paypal, which is a much better scenario for the beginner blogger or website owner because you can't collect on Adsense until your account reaches $100. Monetizing my website or blog with BidVertiser may be a better monetization method for me as well as others. I am being more cautious with how many text ads I place on all my sites and will see how it goes.

Make Money with Freebie Force
Freebie Force is one of my favorite programs. I know there are many blogs and websites online promoting free stuff, hot deals and steal, and coupons, but this is the only one that offers really high-quality freebies and the savings extend to everybody.For example, if you love music (like me) you can obtain for FREE Bon Jovi tickets for July 12th in Central Park. You can also obtain a FREE collection of Doors music (90 songs). Both these groups are near and dear to my heart, and I just couldn't help but get all excited about these freebies and post about them in my blog. This is also a great way to save some money for the holiday gift-giving season. These are just a couple of the freebies this program has to offer; there are many, many more.
This program virtually sells itself if you want to make money with it. You just have to go out and tell people about it, and who wouldn't when you can see all the money you can save with it. You want to save and make money -- Freebie Force is the way to go.

Team Revival 4th of July Promotion
As I mentioned in a previous posting, Team Revival is a profit system that has been created specifically for the WTIA program, which has been around for about 15 years. The WTIA program is also included in the Fortune in 5 Minutes (F5M) program.

Make Money with Send Earnings
Send Earnings -- what is this? This is one of the free-to-join programs I first started with online and constantly neglect because I do not promote it at all but I do use it daily. I figured it was about time I came out of the closet with this program because it has always been there for me; I would like to do the same for Send Earnings at this time.
Send Earnings is a free-to-join program that will pay you for doing a variety of things. I use it daily for the paid-to-read e-mails. Each day when I log into my e-mail account I will find a few (not a billion) e-mails from Send Earnings. I click on them and that is it; I am done. Whatever I earned goes into my account and I never think about it because I figure it is going to take me a long time to cashout -- you have to have at least $30 in your account before Send Earnings will send you a payment.
If you want to make more money with this program, the opportunity is there. I remember joining this because I liked playing online games, and I did make a little doing that with this program. They have some type of affilite program running with WorldWinner and will give you some money to play games; just don't get carried away with it and you will be fine.
Other than games and paid-to-read opportunities, you also have other get-paid-to features, such as doing surveys, shopping through the Send Earnings website, etc., to earn money.
